Dr Bruna Ciprovac PhD
Bruna (she/her) is a Clinical Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor, currently providing evidence-based psychological therapy and assessments for ADHD and Autism in adults and older adolescents (17+).
I am a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with an endorsement in Clinical Psychology (Reg number PSY0002098646) and I am a Board Approved Supervisor. I have a PhD (ClinPsych) from Flinders University, and my PhD thesis was on shared mechanisms of perfectionism and social anxiety.
I have experience working across public and private settings, having worked extensively with neurodivergent individuals and people experiencing chronic health concerns. I have a strong neuro-affirming focus, and I use a warm, friendly, empathic (and, at times, humorous!) approach in my therapy work and assessments. My goal is to help neurodivergent people to better understand themselves and to improve their life experience. My approaches are trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ friendly, and welcoming of all identities, disabilities, and cultural backgrounds.
I also have expertise in a range of other developmental, psychological, and mental health conditions. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy skills.
My primary areas of interest and expertise are:
• Autism and ADHD assessments
• Neuroaffirming psychological therapy - managing burnout, navigating daily tasks, understanding neurotypes and executive functioning, unpacking late diagnosis
• Anxiety
• Social anxiety
• Perfectionism
• Depression
• Adjustment and psychological management of chronic health concerns
In addition to English, I also speak Portuguese and French. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss an assessment or psychological therapy in Portuguese or French.
